The Latin Mass Society of Ireland, founded in 1999, is an
association of Catholic faithful dedicated to the preservation of the
"ancient form of the Roman rite" as a legitimate usage of the Church's
liturgy. The society is composed predominantly of lay members drawn from
every age group and walk of life, but also includes a number of priests
who minister to all who "continue to adhere with great love and
affection to the earlier liturgical forms"
Regular Monthly Sunday Latin Mass in Knock
There is now a regular monthly Sunday Latin Mass in Knock, which is organised by the Latin Mass Society of Ireland. It will take place on the second Sunday of each month in the Church of St John the Baptist at 6pm. Please contact John Heneghan at john_heneghan@hotmail.com for further details.
